P.S. Hey Paul... how do I add a "Comment" option? Not that I would add one or anything...
Readership increases by one. Hello, Paul. Welcome to my screwed up head.
So it was a pretty good weekend... Well, aside from Jerod stealing my phone and attempting to get me into trouble with a certain someone. Jon finally likes DDR!!
Last week was okay... Krissi's cat died, which sucked, but I think I made her feel better for a while. Took her to the mall and to dinner and we talked a lot about life and she seemed better. I had breakfast with her today and she seems okay now... Anyway. When we were at the mall, I found the Agent Smith figure! And the DDR tournament, well that was great too. Anyone who wants to know the full story should either just ask me or check it out here. (SHAMELESS PLUG!)
Okay so I'm really worried about Dwayne. He's been going through a rough time already... then something really bad happened that I read about on his livejournal. I'm pretty sure AJ was gonna have lunch with him today and try to make him feel better, and I hope that worked. But Dwayne, if you're reading this (I have no clue if you would), then give me a call next time you have a free moment.
One day til my 3 day McWork Cycle begins...

Okay every one of my friends posted to their blog this weekend so now I have to or else I'm the outsider ;P - (yes that is a winking smiley with the tongue sticking out. Why has nobody thought of that one yet?)
Anyway I'm in the computer lab right now, in the middle of one of my rare "Run-around-campus-doing-various-things-for-every-class-I-have" days. I've actually finished two assignments in the last hour, but I should've known the moment I sat down at the computer that I would become easily distracted. Which is bad, because I have a Calculus II quiz in about an hour and I haven't done half of the assigned homework for this one. Translation? I'M GONNA FAIL IT!
This weekend was... decent. Friday I saw Jon and we had dinner and went to the arcade, where I sucked ass at DDR - my legs felt like jelly when I was done. Of course that briefly took my mind off the topic of converstion we had going on all night. Apparently he and I are both suffering through the same major problem. Why life is so unfair I'll never know.
Saturday night I was supposed to go bowling with Jerod and a bunch of people, but we didn't get a lane at the alley in town so he wanted to drive 25 minutes out of the way and pay $5 more a person at a different alley. Like hell I was gonna do that. Ralph and I called Paul E. and just went down to George Webb. Had some interesting conversations. Also hit the arcade on Saturday - had to wait an hour for a group of four to give up the DDR machine.
Sunday I went with my dad to the anime store and the mall (this time I did NOT go to the arcade - damnit). He unintentionally started his Christmas shopping. Apparenly he saw a lot of stuff my stepmother would really like. I, on the other hand, found something I was looking for for seven months now - an X2 movie Magneto figure! Only one I've ever seen, and only one in the entire mall. Of course I bought it, because I'm a sucker for rare villian figures. Which reminds me, there will actually be an Agent Smith figure coming out by the end of the year! Thank God. Of course then I went looking for the Soul Calibur II "Ivy" figure, which I've only seen once, and nobody had it anymore. Oh well. I guess the moral of the story is that if you wait long enough you'll get what you really want. I hope.
Okay so I'm just rambling now. I don't really imagine anyone cares too much about any of this, so I'd better get back to work on stuff before I lose my drive. Maybe if I get enough done here at school I can spend the evening at home playing Soul Calibur II.

Happy Veteran's Day, and Happy Anniversary to Mom and Mark.
My God, what a day. Remember how I changed my major? Yeah, apparenly when the physics department contacted the MCS department, my minor got dropped. So imagine my shock this morning when I went to register for classes and the system told me I couldn't get two of the ones I needed for my minor.
After a brief investigation, my fear was confirmed and I began my quest to RE-declare my minor. *Sigh* Two hours, a phone call, a couple absolute entry forms, and a different minor applied by accident later, I FINALLY had it all worked out. Although because of the End User Tech classes I need, I can't take Russian II (time conflict).
This registration stuff is getting WAY too complicated.
GOOD NEWS: Next Thursday there is a DDR Tournament in Whitewater... That actually gives me something to look forward to!

One of these days maybe I'll have the drive to complete my own design on this site. Then again, it's me - so don't count on it.
It was an interesting weekend. Little reminders of the past popped up everywhere... and I also managed to go into someplace I never thought I could set foot in again. I've been feeling pretty nostalgic lately, and that's leading to a lot of down-time and tiredness.
Other stuff that happened this weekend:
Saw Jon on Friday. I gave him some advice, but I don't know if he took it or not. I hope he did, and I hope it works out well for him.
Watched lunar eclipse on Saturday. Struggled over whether or not to call someone all day - decided not to. Eventually decided to call Dwayne only to get a busy signal on his cell. Later found out from his uJournal that his phone was "lifted." Hmm.
Visited my aunt in the hospital on Sunday. She sure is upbeat for someone who just learned they had cancer. But then, it wouldn't be like her to feel down or depressed. She's always been an active and happy person. Maybe I could learn something from her.
In GOOD news: I changed my major on Friday. I am now a Physics Major with Graduate School emphasis. We'll see if I have the drive to go to Grad School or not - I KNOW I can't afford it right away, but I've always wanted a PhD since I was little. It's not like I see any sort of new job or relationship on the horizon so dedicating myself to science would be good. But I don't know if I can bring myself to be in school that long. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Anyway, off to work on the Family Christmas List. Why I volunteered for THAT job I'll never know.

Just got back from the Matrix Revolutions... And yes, I was true to my word. I went in as Agent Smith. My hair is still slicked back, actually. I think I'm just gonna leave it like this overnight and see what happens to it in the morning. Maybe I'll even skip the shower tomorrow and see how long the gel holds. Although I look like a damn greaser right now with the worn-out t-shirt and blue jeans I'm wearing.
I only got two comments on the costume, and they both "Hey, it's Mr. Smith!" because apparently nobody knows what "Agent" means.
Oh? So the movie. I walked in Agent Smith and I walked out utterly confused. This didn't seem much like the other movies. It did not by any means have the same effect on me that they did. For the benefit of all of you who haven't seen it yet, I won't go into great detail about the plot, suffice it to say I did not like the ending. There I said it. I did not like the ending.
This has been quite the disappointing week. First the whole argument over the weekend, then I have to return to my mundane studies at Whitewater, then this movie (which has been driving me for six months) lets me down, I have a calc test tomorrow and then work on Saturday.
How can last week be so great and this week suck so much? What's up for next week?

Happy birthday today to my dad and to Nicole! I can't believe it's Novemer already. Where does the time go?
Anyway, I was told by a certain someone that it was hard to read the green font on the black background so I should reconsider my color choice. For right now I've taken a very lazy approach and brightened the shade of green and gray while keeping the black background (let me know if this is any better, aj). If it's still hard to read I'll have to consider some other color options.
What a great day at school today *rolls eyes.* I get to get a bunch of tests back this week only so I can take more. And hopefully do better. Let's just hope it works.
Matrix Revolutions in under 24 hours!

Well it was an interesting weekend... Went up to Madison with Ralph and Jason on Friday night, but almost all of the people we were supposed to visit either had to cancel or just weren't reachable. So we spent a lot of time walking around blindly.
I did however get to see my good friend AJ, and that was great. Probably the highlight of my year. Not because I've been having a bad year (although I admit I have been), but because I just really like it when I get to see her - it's so rare now (about once a year).
Anyway Saturday was all right... Watched Requiem for a Dream and went bowling. Thank God bowling didn't suck (it has a habit of doing that), but I was in a very distorted mood all day. I'm not sure where life is going or what it's leading to if anything, but I know that I feel lost. I can barely even describe it.
If anyone can tell me what it means when you feel like you're just floating in thin air, please let me know.
