Updates
A lot has actually happened since my last post. I'm feeling much less stressed this semester, which is a good thing. I guess the light load is helping a lot, because I can get my homework done very quickly so far. Too bad Andrea has such a high workload this semester, it's making her very tired and we don't get to see much of each other. I'm not very happy about that, but she has to get her degree done.
I have been constructing a computer for someone (who knows very little about computers and it can be frustrating at times). I have two to three other people lined up for the service after that. It's not nearly as lucrative as you would think.
My car is making a squeaking noise. I have to get it checked out, but I've been spending money like crazy lately. Besides ordering computer parts for others, I've bought a few things for myself. I found a good deal on a 256MB video card and 1GB of RAM, so I got both of those. Sadly, the RAM didn't work in my machine even though the auctioneer on eBay professed it was the right kind (next time I have to remember to email the seller and ask if it is ECC or Non-ECC RAM I guess... unless he didn't know the difference).
I also finally used the Best Buy cards I got for Christmas toward the purchase of a Creative Zen MicroPhoto. It's not an iPod so it can't do video... but it has twice the storage capacity of the iPod Nano for $100 less, and also records FM radio directly to mp3. Up yours, RIAA!
Ran into one of my professors today and talked about job hunting. He said companies around here start looking in March, but I can look sooner. If anyone sees anything you might think I would like, please let me know ;)
